Terms of Sale

Note: For safety and legal reasons, we do not ship firearms or ammunition. In-store pickup is always required, and customers must present legal documentation authorizing them to purchase these types of items.

Weapon classes

Class B

Class B firearms are short repeating or semi-automatic firearms.

Class B1

  • Semi-automatic pistols in the calibers known as 6.35 mm Browning (.25 ACP or .25 Auto).
  • Revolvers in the caliber known as .32 S & W Long.

Class C

  • Long semi-automatic, repeating, or single-shot firearms with a rifled barrel.
  • Long semi-automatic, repeating, or single-shot firearms with two or more barrels, if at least one is rifled.
  • Long semi-automatic or repeating smoothbore firearms with a barrel no longer than 60 cm.
  • Short single-shot firearms designed exclusively to fire centerfire ammunition.
  • Firearms up to 6 mm in caliber designed exclusively to fire rimfire ammunition.
  • Replica firearms when used for sport shooting and air guns with a caliber greater than 5.5 mm.

Class D

  • Long semi-automatic or repeating smoothbore firearms with a barrel longer than 60 cm.
  • Long semi-automatic, repeating, or single-shot firearms with a rifled barrel longer than 60 cm, designed to fire ammunition intended for smoothbore barrels.
  • Long single-shot smoothbore firearms.

Class E

  • Defensive sprays containing gas whose active ingredient is capsaicin or oleoresin capsicum.
  • Electric weapons up to 200000 V, equipped with a safety mechanism.
  • Firearms and ammunition designed to fire non-metallic projectiles and approved by the National Directorate of the PSP.

Class F

  • Batons, sabers, and other bladed weapons traditionally intended for martial arts.
  • Replica firearms and deactivated firearms intended for collection.

Licensing

  • License B, for the use and carrying of Class B and E weapons.
  • License B1, for the use and carrying of Class B1 and E weapons.
  • License C, for the use and carrying of Class C, D, and E weapons.
  • License D, for the use and carrying of Class D and E weapons.
  • License E, for the use and carrying of Class E weapons.
  • License F, for the possession, use, and carrying of Class F weapons.
  • License to possess a weapon at home and special license, under the applicable legal terms.

Acquisition, possession, use, and carrying of weapons

Class B, B1, and C weapons

They are acquired through a declaration of sale or donation and require prior authorization granted by the National Director of the PSP. Acquisition, possession, use, and carrying are authorized for holders of the applicable licenses and other legally authorized persons.

Class D, E, and F weapons

Acquisition is carried out through a declaration of sale or donation in the cases provided for by law. Possession, use, and carrying depend on the applicable license and verification of the buyer's individual circumstances.

Class G weapons

The acquisition of veterinary weapons and line-throwing guns may be authorized for persons over the age of 18 who demonstrate a professional or sporting need. The acquisition of signaling and airsoft guns is subject to the applicable legal conditions and authorizations.

Acquisition of ammunition

Class B and B1 firearms

The owner may not possess more than 250 rounds of ammunition for each of these classes. Acquisition requires presentation of the firearm registration booklet, ammunition record book, and proof of the license holder's identity.

Class C and D firearms

Ammunition may be freely bought and sold upon proof of the buyer's identity, presentation of the registration booklet for the relevant firearm, and an itemized invoice for the ammunition sold.
